Instant Pot Kolkata Ghugni Chaat
Ingredients
  • 2 cups dried white peas (vatana) , soaked in warm water for 6 to 8 hours
  • 2 ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp ginger , minced
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 bay leaves
  • ½ cinnamon stick
  • 1 potatoes , medium size and chopped
  • 1 cup onions , finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes , deseeded and finely chopped
  • 10 to 15 strands ginger , julienned
  • 2 green chilies , finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp tamarind pulp
  • 1 ½ tsp jaggery  or sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp chana masala
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp mango powder (amchur)
  • salt  to taste
  • ¼ cup cilantro , finely chopped

  • tamarind chutney
  • cilantro chutney
  • lemons
  • ginger , julienned
  • tomatoes , chopped
  • onions , chopped
  • 1 tsp chaat masala and ¼ tsp garam masala , mixed together
