Za'atar Chicken

Ingredients
  • 4 chicken legs
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp zaatar
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed or grated
  • Juice of 1 lime
Steps
  1. Slash the thigh of each chicken leg in 3 to 4 places, down to the bone.
  2. In a bowl or bag, add chicken, oil, zaatar, garlic, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Rub the marinade using your hands, then cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Roast in a 400F oven for 35 minutes.
