  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups (300 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, from about 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, from about 1 to 2 lemons
  • 1 tablespoon yellow cornmeal - SEE NOTE 1
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
