This is an easy version of Spaghetti all'Assassina (Assassin's spaghetti).

subheading: Tomato Broth:

note: In a sauce pan, combine and bring to a boil...

170g tomato paste (1 6oz can)

800g water

¼ tsp granulated garlic

1 tsp salt, (or use my umami salt

½ tsp basil

¼ tsp oregano

note: Reduce heat to low

¼ cup oil (I use high-oleic sunflower oil)

1 tsp red chili flakes

note: Add..

200g fusilli pasta

note: Mix to thoroughly to coat then spread as much as possible

subheading: Killer Pasta, add:

3 ladles of tomato broth

note: Fry until a crust has formed more or less evenly

note: Repeatedly add...

2 ladles of tomato broth

note: Mix, then fry until the broth has been completely absorbed and pasta begins to char

note: Repeat until the pasta is cooked

subheading: Finally add:

2 containers (6oz each) of my Italian meat sauce

note: Mix, fry to desired level of dryness

subheading: Serving suggestion:
