15 Minute Mongolian Noodles with Ground Beef
Ingredients
  • ground beef - you can also substitute ground chicken, turkey, or vegetarian alternatives
  • soy sauce - I recommend low sodium to balance out the high salt content of the hoisin sauce
  • hoisin sauce - this is the only "specialty" ingredient in this recipe, if you've never used it you can read all about it here
  • beef broth
  • brown sugar - the sweetness blends perfectly with the other flavors!
  • ground ginger
  • garlic - I keep a jar of minced garlic in the fridge for easy access (found in the produce section of the store)
  • red pepper flakes - add more to make it spicy
  • pepper
  • linguine, spaghetti, or rice noodles
  • green onion (optional!)
