Cranberry Bliss Bar
A version of Starbuck's Cranberry Bliss Bar. Personally, I like this version even better than the one they sell!

Ingredients
  • subheading: Bar:
  • 1 c butter
  • 1 ¾ c brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ t vanilla
  • 1 t ginger
  • ¼ t salt
  • 1 ½ c flour
  • ¾ c cranberries
  • 6 oz white chocolate chips
  • 9"x13" pan
  • subheading: Frosting:
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 3 c powdered sugar
  • 4 t lemon juice
  • ½ t vanilla
  • subheading: Icing:
  • ½ c powdered sugar
  • 1 T milk
  • 2 t butter
  • ½ c dried cranberries or craisins
Steps
  1. subheading: Bars:
  2. Beat butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla, ginger, and salt.
  4. Gradually beat in flour until smooth.
  5. Mix in cranberries and chocolate.
  6. Pour into well-greased pan. Bake for 30 to 35 min until golden and toothpick comes out clean.

  8. Beat all ingredients until smooth.
  9. When bars are cool, prick with a fork, then spread frosting.
  10. subheading: Icing:
  11. Whisk together sugar, milk, and butter.
  12. Drizzle over frosted bars, then sprinkle cranberries on top.
  13. Wait a few hours, then slice bars to make 8 rectangles. Slice each rectangle diagonally.
