  • 1 ½ tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ teaspoons grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 5 tablespoons water, divided
  • 1 ½ teaspoons sriracha, or more to taste
  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 4 medium scallions, chopped for garnish
