Ingredients
  • 4 ½ C  sugar
  • 18 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ lb  butter
  • 13 oz evaporated milk
  • 2 C  chopped walnuts
  • 8 oz marshmallow cream
  • 2 t  vanilla extract
Steps
  1. Place marshmallow cream, chocolate chips, butter and vanilla in a large bowl.
  2. Mix sugar and milk in 2 ½ quart pan.  Bring to a rolling boil and stir constantly until it reaches 234 degrees (approximately 5 to 10 minutes), being careful not to scorch.
  3. Pour sugar and milk mixture over ingredients in the bowl and stir until all is melted and mix is smooth.
  4. Add nuts, mixing well.
  5. Pour into buttered pan.
  6. Refrigerate.
