  • 2 ¼ tsp. kosher salt, plus more for salting water
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • 12 oz. uncooked tagliatelle, pappardelle, fettuccine, or linguine pasta
  • Shaved Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
