Walnut Lentil Planet Burgers
Ingredients
  • 1 and ½ cup dry lentils (any type)
  • 3 cups water
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup light olive oil or peanut oil (for frying)
  • 2 cups onion, chopped very fine
  • 6 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz. baby bella mushrooms, chopped very fine
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped fine
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup plain, dry bread crumbs
  • your favorite bread, buns and burger toppings
