- 4 ½ qts beef broth or stock
- 2 garlic flavored bouillon cubes
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp fresh ground black pepper
- 1 7oz can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 3 ½ bay leaves
- 3 roasted chilis ( I like poblano or Anaheim, they are mild) chopped * optional
