Tastee Recipe Such a Quick and Yummy Fall Meal!
Tastee Recipe and Jo Cooks
Ingredients
  • 1 lb bowtie pasta, cooked al dente
  • 1 lb mild Italian sausage (I used Johnsonville and took it out of the casings, but you can probably get by with just bulk Italian sausage, if you prefer.)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (I use Pompeian)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup white wine (Nothing too expensive or too sweet.)
  • 1 cup chicken stock (I used Swanson chicken stock.)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg, or freshly grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
