  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp. crushed red pepper

  • 1 lb. lumache pasta or gemelli pasta
  • 2 c. jarred giardiniera, drained and roughly chopped, plus more for serving

  • ½ c. packed fresh basil leaves, torn, plus more for serving
