  • ½ t onion powder
  • 1 t salt
  • ½ t black pepper
  • ¼ t crushed red pepper, optional for spice
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup pepperoncini brining liquid from jar
  • 8 to 10 pepperoncini
  • 1 small onion, quartered
  • 2 to 3 garlic cloves, smashed
