Ingredients
- 2 salmon filets
- ¼ cup Chopped onion
- 2 stalks green onion. Chopped
- 1 egg
- Course Panko
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
Steps
- Add 1 cup of water to your pot
- Put your trivet in with the fish on top
- Season the fish with salt and pepper
- Close and seal your pot
- Set your pot to manual 3 minutes
- When cooking is done do a quick releas. Remove the fish from the pot and let it cool enough to handle
- Break up the filets in a bowl. Add the egg, yellow onion and green onion
- Add a ½ cup of Panko and mix together with your hands. If the mixture seems to wet add a little more Panko . Add just enough so it will hold together
- Divide the mixture into ⅓ cup portions and form into patties
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the oil
- Put the patties into the skillet . Don't move them around. Cook until golden brown then flip and brown the other side
Notes
- Tarter sauce
- Grate ¼ yellow onion into a small bowl, add 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, add 2 to 3 heaping tablespoons of Best Foods mayo, add a little salt and pepper and mix together.
- Make this early and refrigerate for at least an hour so the flavors blend
