Acorn Squash

Ingredients
  • 1 medium acorn squash, halved and seeded
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Sprinkle on nutmeg
  • Sprinkle on cinnamon
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Cut it in half and seed it.
  3. Microwave on high for 5 minutes.
  4. Put about 1 tbsp of butter in each half & spread it around on the top edges & inside.
  5. Litely sprinkle nutmeg all over and then about twice as much cinnamon.
  6. Follow it up with brown sugar (1 to 2T each half depending on how sweet you like it) and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.
  7. Feel free to turn the oven off and keep the squash in there until the rest of your meal is done.
