Ingredients
  • ½ yellow onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup Olive oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon stone ground cornmeal
  • 3 tablespoons white whole wheat or AP flour
  • Salt
Steps
  1. Soak onion in milk and dredge in cornmeal-flour mixture.
  2. In a 6" pan, fry in oil about 350°F
  3. When golden brown remove to a paper towel lined plate
