- ½ cup canola or vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 20 oz. maraschino cherries (two jars) divided
- subheading: For the frosting:
- ½ cup salted butter room temperature
- 16 oz. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. maraschino cherry juice (from above jar) (you will need some cherries for the cake, some of juices for the frosting and more cherries for decorating)
- 4 to 6 Tbsp. milk
