1 small garlic clove

3 lb. tomatoes

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon sugar (optional) I used just a pinch

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 lb. angel-hair pasta

½ cup chopped fresh basil

grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

extra virgin olive oil for drizzling (please don’t omit this!)
