Ingredients
  • 1 to 2 Tbls oil
  • 1 lb dry navy beans
  • 8 cups liquid - (I used 3 cans of reduced sodium chicken broth and 5 cups water)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • ⅓ cup carrots, diced
  • 3 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 Tbls minced garlic
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup ham, diced (I used my leftover ham from Christmas)
