Harry's Rice Pudding

Ingredients
  • ½ gallon whole milk
  • ¾ c white long grain rice
  • 1 egg
  • ½ c sugar
  • 1 T vanilla
  • sugarfree=5 drops ezsweetz+½ c erythritol (powder it after measuring)
Steps
  1. Bring rice, milk to a boil using LOW heat (#5 to 6) Beat egg, vanilla, sugar in bowl. Add to milk and rice, lower heat, simmer for 45 minutes, #3 stirring occasionally. Refrigerate, covered.
Notes
  • To avoid burning milk on bottom of the pan, rinse pot with cold water but do not dry before adding ingredients. The water forms a barrier. also, can try microwaving the milk to boiling point. Doubling the recipe requires the same amount of simmer time.
