Instant Pot Ravioli Layered Casserole
I made this for lunch today, turned out really tasty! Here is the recipe that I came up with! I'm so glad that I added the Pesto to it. You could leave it out, but I don't believe you will have the same depth of flavor. I made this in my 8qt Duo! When I uncovered the pan there was some liquid on top. It was partly oil from the Basil Pesto, I just dabbed it off with a paper towel before browning!

Ingredients
  • 1lb Hamburger, browned
  • 1 24oz can Hunts Zesty & Spicy Pasta Sauce or your favorite
  • 26 Frozen Ravioli (I used Mozzarella & Spinach)
  • Basil Pesto
  • Fresh Mozzarella
  • Parmesan
  • 1c water
Steps
  1. Add sauce to cooked hamburger.
  2. In 3x8 round pan layer sauce mixture, place ravioli on top, repeat, end with another layer of sauce.
  3. Top with Pesto, Fresh Mozzarella & Parmesan.
  4. Cover pan with foil. Add 1c water to Instant Pot, place Lasagna on trivet and lower into pot.
  5. Cook on HP 20min, NPR 10min.
  6. You can then brown it under the broiler until golden brown, if desired. Enjoy!!!
Notes
  • Note: I prepared this ahead of time and then placed in the refrigerator until ready to cook!
  • Note: I was getting ready to place under the broiler and my son pulled out his Searzall Propane torch that he uses for the Sous Vide! Does a fantastic job! Cut 3 minutes off the browning time!
  • 10 to 15min Prep
  • 10min to pressurize
  • 20min to cook
  • 10min NPR
  • 5min Broil/Sear to brown cheese
  • = 55 to 60min total time
