- ½ cup (60 g) currants
- ½ cup (70 g) pistachios
- 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon cloves
- 1 ½ teaspoons cardamom
- A generous pinch of salt
- 3 cups (700 ml) cool water
