Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced carrots (¼-inch-thick slices)
  • 1 fresh jalapeño chile, slit vertically on one side and seeded
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
