Japanese Steak Sauce (possible clone of Ikinari Steak Sauce)

Ingredients
  • 2 T sake
  • 1 T mirin
  • 1 T rice vinegar
  • 1 T sugar
  • 2 tsp minced garlic or 1 tsp grated garlic
  • 2 T soy sauce
Steps
  1. Heat all except soy sauce to remove alcohol from sake and mirin.  Right before serving on top of steaks or burgers, add soy sauce.  Best served  hot or still warm
