Angel Food Cake
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ c sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 c sifted flour
  • 12 large egg whites
  • 1 ½ t cream of tarter
  • ¼ t salt
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 c sugar
Steps
  1. Sift tog flour and powdered sugar two times.
  2. Beat tog next 4 ingred til soft peaks form.
  3. Add sugar 2 T at a time and keep beating til stiff peaks form.
  4. Sift ¼ of the flour into the whites and fold by hand. Rep til flour is added.
  5. Add mixture to ungreased tube pan.
  6. Bake 350 for 40 mins or til done.
  7. Cook while inverted in pan.
