Ingredients
- subheading: For the Loaf:
- 1 Stick Unsalted Butter (Equal to half a cup)
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 Lemon, Juiced and Zest
- 1 ½ Cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- Pinch Salt
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- ¼ Cup Cream (half and half works well or whole milk - but cream is better for moister loaf and richer taste)
- subheading: For the Glaze:
- 1 ⅓ Cup Icing Sugar .. same as Powdered/Confectioners sugar (in Canada we call it Icing sugar because it's most often used to ice or frost a cake)
- ½ Lemon, Juiced and Zest
- ½ tsp Vanilla
- subheading: For the Loaf:
- Preheat Oven to 350 F.
