Ingredients

  • 1 Fresno chile, very thinly sliced
  • 1 large shallot, thinly sliced into rounds, rinsed
  • 1 garlic clove, finely grated
  • 3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1½ cups coarsely torn basil
