Béchamel Sauce
Vegan
Ingredients
  • 6 tblspn oil
  • 3 tblsp Tapioca Starch
  • 3 tblsp Flour
  • 3 cups V-milk
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper (to taste)
  • Large pinch nutmeg
Steps
  1. ADD oil to saucepan + tapioca starch + flour & mix & stir continuously over medium heat
  2. Do not allow to tick or get dark
  3. Slowly add milk little s a time & continue to stir
  4. Add salt + pepper + nutmeg & stir until thick & smooth
