Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cake

⅓ cup canola or vegetable oil

3 large egg whites

2 ½ cups powdered sugar, sifted to remove lumps

Two 8-ounce packages cream cheese, at room temperature

½ cup (1 stick) butter, at room temperature

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

subheading: ADDITIONAL:

extra miniature chocolate chips, for garnish
