Homemade Baking Soda and Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash
The cleansing properties of baking soda help to remove plaque and all other residues stuck in between the teeth. The detoxifying, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of tea tree oil fights off gingivitis.

Ideal For: This mouthwash is ideal for dealing with periodontal diseases like gingivitis and getting rid of plaque.
Ingredients
  • Take 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl.
  • Pour ½ cup of warm water to it.
  • Add 3 to 4 drops of tea tree oil to it.
  • Mix all the ingredients with a spoon.
  • Use 2 to 3 tablespoons of this mixture to rinse your mouth.
  • Repeat gargling twice a day.

  • Note - Do not swallow this mouthwash because it contains tea tree oil that can cause adverse reactions in the body.
