Stovetop Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 pound uncooked pasta (I used cavatappi)
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground mustard
  • 4 to 5 cups ( 16 to 20 ounces) freshly-shredded* sharp cheddar cheese (I used sharp white cheddar)
  • ½ cup freshly-shredded* Parmesan cheese
