Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 5 roma tomatoes or similar tomatoes without a lot of juicy guts
  • ½ a large white onion, chopped
  • 5 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 chipotles in adobe, seeds removed, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Bragg Liquid Aminos or soy sauce
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ white onion, cut into thin strips
  • 6 cups chopped, unripe or young jackfruit (three 14-ounce cans, drained and rinsed)
  • 1 tablespoon of your favorite no salt all-purpose seasoning
