Homemade Pasta Sauce and Homemade Bread
Ingredients
  • 430g bread flower
  • 6g instant yeast
  • 2 to 4g coarse salt
  • 360 ml warm water
  • Cornmeal for dusting
Steps
  1. Whisk all dry ingredients
  2. Add in water, mix to form a sticky dough
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise 2 to 3 hours, or until doubled in size.
  4. After doubled in size, turn out dough onto floured surface, work the dough for about 1 to 2 minutes. Cut in half.
  5. Form 2 loaves, place onto non-stick baking sheet, with cornmeal if desired.
  6. Lightly cover with cheese cloth. Allow to rise for 45 minutes.
  7. While dough is rising, preheat oven to 475°F
  8. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, allow to cool completely.
