Ingredients
  • 200g red lentils
  • 1 chopped onions
  • 2 to 3 chopped carrots
  • 2 to 3 sticks chopped celery
  • 400g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 2 x chicken oxo cubes
  • 1 pack lardons or pancetta
  • 1.5 pints water
Steps
  1. Basically through it all in the pan, bring to boil and simmer for an hour. Liquidise if you want it smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add more water if you don’t like it thick
