Perfect for gift giving in ½-pt. or pt.-sized jars.

Ingredients
- ¾ c. cider vinegar
- ¼ c. water
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- ¼ tsp. ground cloves
- ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 green apples (peeled, cored & cut into eighths)
- 2 medium onions (cut into pieces)
- 2 oz. candied citron
- 1 c. raisins
- ½ c. brown sugar
Steps
- Put vinegar, water, garlic, curry powder, salt, ginger, cloves, & cinnamon into blender container; blend till garlic is finely chopped.
- Add half the apples & half the onions to blender container & blend till coarsely chopped. (If necessary, stop blender & scrape sides with rubber spatula.)
- Add remaining apples & onions, along with remaining ingredients to blender container & blend till coarsely chopped.
- Pour blender contents into saucepan & simmer over low heat, uncovered, 45 to 60 mins. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- If desired, seal/can in hot, scalded jars.
Notes
- The spiciness of this dish is controlled by the spiciness of the curry powder used.
