An interesting blend of Spices and Adaptable for either IC Low Acid Diet or AIP Auto Immune Diet. If you are on an IC Diet, you can replace the Small Onion with a small amount of Chives. If you are on the AIP Diet, leave out the Black Pepper. For anyone else, I would use a small amount of Cracked Black Pepper in preference to Ground Pepper. Plus I consider 1/4 Tsp to be a bit excessive and the other Spices would not be experienced as much. ENJOY!
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 small onion chopped, omit for IC
  • 12 ounces taro root peeled and chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 medium carrot chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Veggie Stock
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon dried cilantro
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper omit for AIP
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon water
