loading...
X
This recipe is slightly different from but based on the barefeetinthekitchen blog's recipe. It's dead-on precisely the flavor of store-bought Ranch minus the funky difficult to pronounce ingredients.
Servings: ½ Cup
Servings: 1/2 Cup
Ingredients
- subheading: Dry Ingredients:
- ⅛ tsp dried dill weed
- ⅛ tsp dried parsley
- ⅛ tsp dried chives
- ⅛ tsp granulated garlic or garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp granulated onion or onion powder
- pinch or kosher salt, adjust to taste
- pinch of freshly cracked black pepper
- subheading: Wet Ingredients:
- ¼ C real mayonnaise
- ¼ C sour cream
- ½ tsp fresh lemon juice or white vinegar
Steps
- Combine all the dry ingredients in a small bowl. Set it aside.
- Combine the wet ingredients in a separate bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed
- Vigorously rub the dry ingredients between your hands to release the flavorful oils.
- Add the hand-rubbed seasonings to the wet ingredients and stir the mixture until thoroughly combined.
- You may eat it immediately, but the flavors will bloom as it rests.
- Cover and refrigerate until you are ready to serve the dip/salad dressing.
Notes
- I found this recipe in a Culinary 1 class that I interpreted for in the high school I work. barefeetinthekitchen.com/quick-and-easy-homemade-ranch-dr...
