Hearty Rabbit Stew with Vegetables

  • 4 ounces mushrooms
  • ⅓ cup cold water

  • 2 cups biscuit mix, such as Bisquick
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon dried sage
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, for garnish, optional
