  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne or other dried hot pepper such as pepper flakes
  • sugar substitute equivalent to 1 Tablespoon sugar
