Dorothy's Mint Fudge Cake

These recipes represent our family recipes from my Granny Patwell, my brother John Patwell, sisters Jane Petrie and Joanne Hawkins, my wife,Terri Patwell and myself, Jeff Patwell. The oldest dated recipes are from 1923. Enjoy reading the recipes.

White cake mix 13 x 9

2 Tablespoons creme de menth syrup

1 jar Hershey hot fudge sauce

8 ounce cool whip

1 to 2 Tablespoons creme de menth

Prepare white cake mix per the box directions. Fold in 2 Tablespoons of creme de menth syrup. Bake as directed on box in a 13 x 9 pan. Let cool completely. Spread hot fudge sauce evenly on cooled cake . Spread cool whip on top of fudge and swirl creme de menth on the cool whip.
