Ingredients
  • 1lb plain flour
  • 4oz caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 12 oz stork margarine
Steps
  1. 1. Mix altogether in a bowl.
  2. 2. The more you knead it the better the texture.
  3. 3. Rest pastry before rolling out.
  4. 4. Bake as required
Notes
  • Omit sugar for a savoury pastry
  • Received recipe from my mother in law who makes great pastry. Unfortunately no information on cooking temperature
