  • 2 small lemons divided, plus extra for serving as desired
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ΒΌ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic peeled and roughly chopped
  • Additional chopped fresh herbs such as basil, thyme, parsley, dill, or green onion (optional)
