My bluecheese burgers

Ingredients
  • 16 oz cooked 99% fat-free ground turkey breast
  • 16 oz uncooked 93% lean ground turkey
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 5 oz fresh mushroom(s), chopped
  • 1 cup(s) fresh baby spinach, fresh, chopped
  • 5 oz blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
Steps
  1. 1. Saute garlic in olive oil about a minute, add mushroom and spinach. Continue cooking until spinach is wilted and mushrooms are soft. Drain off any liquid. Place in mixing bowl, allow to cool.
  2. 2. Once cooled add all ground turkey. Mix well (I mix by hand).
  3. 3.  Add crumbled blue cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Gently mix in cheese.
  4. 4. Weigh and shape 8 five ounce burgers. Cook.
