"Mrs. Fields" Style Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
  • Chilling time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cookies
  • 1 cup ( 120 g) certified gluten free oat flour
  • 1 cup ( 140 g) all purpose gluten free flour blend (I used Better Batter; click thru for appropriate blends)
  • ¼ teaspoon xanthan gum (omit if your blend already contains it)
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup ( 100 g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup ( 109 g) packed light brown sugar
  • 8 tablespoons ( 112 g) unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 ( 50 g (weighed out of shell)) egg at room temperature, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
