Better Than Takeout Wonton Soup

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons Spice World Minced Ginger
  • 3 teaspoons Spice World Minced Garlic
  • 6 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups carrots, shredded
  • 1 (10 oz.) bag frozen shelled edamame, thawed
  • 1-pound medium shrimp peeled, deveined, tails removed
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 1 small head Napa cabbage chopped into bite-size pieces (or 4 cups)
