Chinese Style Beef Tendon and Ox Tail Stew (6 Hours of Collagen Goodness)
Ingredients
  • 1 lb of beef tendon
  • 1 lb of ox tail
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 2 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 stalk of scallion
  • 1 dried bay leaf
  • 5 cups of water
  • ½ cup of soy sauce
  • ¼ cup of condensed soy paste (thicker than regular soy sauce)
  • 2~3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1~2 tablespoons of freshly ground black pepper
  • Some salt
  • Some cilantro (for garnish)
