Ingredients
  • 12 oz (340 g) dried split peas (yellow or green)
  • Boiling water for soaking
  • ⅔ cup (150 mL) water
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) light-colored vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • ½ cup (40 g) whole psyllium husks
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • Optional: ½ to ¾ teaspoon salt
