Spanish-Style Pork Chops with Chorizo Garbanzo Rice
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped
  • 2 to 3 fresh green onions, coarsely chopped
  • ¼ cup banana pepper rings, chopped
  • 1 (3-oz) package cured chorizo sausage, thinly sliced
  • 1 ½ lb boneless pork chops
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (16-oz) can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed/well drained
  • 1 (8.8-oz) pouch precooked white rice

  • Chop cilantro, green onions, and banana peppers.
  • Slice chorizo.
