Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground turkey (2 pounds ultra lean (96%) ground turkey or venison, thawed if frozen, see Recipe Notes below)
  • 20 oz frozen small-cut seasoning blend 2 (10- to 12-ounce) bags frozen small-cut seasoning blend (see page 35)
  • 29 oz diced tomatoes (2- (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes)
  • 10 oz Rotel tomatoes & chilies (1- (10-ounce) can Ro-tel-style diced tomatoes and green chilies (hot, medium, or mild)
  • 30 oz pinto beans (2- (15-ounce) cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained)
  • 30 oz white beans (2- (15-ounce) cans white beans, such as cannellini or Great Northern, rinsed and drained)
  • 32 oz chicken broth (1-quart)
  • 3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin (ground cumin)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried minced garlic
  • 1 tsp oregano (dried oregano)
  • 1.5 tsp mineral salt
  • 1.5 tsp THM Super Sweet Blend (1½ to 2 teaspoons Super Sweet Blend (optional, but gives a great hint of sweetness to balance flavors)
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, depending on your heat preference)
